This award deliverable is based on a global research study that examines and assess the innovations in sensor technologies for industrial applications. In the study, technologies ranging from fiber optics to MEMS and nanotechnology based sensors along with wireless monitoring are analyzed. The drivers, challenges as well as influencing technology developments are also discussed. The awards include three Technology Innovation awards.
